What is MDS relationship with Google?
MDS is a reseller of Google Maps and provides an alternative platform to MDS' authoritative Foundation Map. Google provides satellite and terrain options in addition to the base road network. Although Google is not a mapping company, their base map can be used as the visual platform for MDS GeoApps.
Can I licence Google Maps?
Yes! MapData Services is a reseller of the Google Maps Premier API. If you need access to Google Maps for your business (government or commercial) we are able to arrange a competitive licence for you. Access to Google Maps is free for private users and not for profit organisations. Every other application requires a licence.

Need to fix an error on Google Maps
Google has their own system for updating mapping data as we do for our base map. This is a continuous process that Google will source from the publics input.
