GeoRisk Premium Web Service**

An enhanced risk web service providing organisations with the ability to assess risk down to the street address level.  This enhanced service takes the Risk Frontiers dataset which covers the five perils of flood, fire, cyclone, earthquake and hailstorm; members of the ICA can now access a hosted service for the National Flood Information Database (NFID).  In combination, these datasets provide a unique offering to the insurance industry and in understanding the "threat of peril" from natural disasters.

RF Natural Hazards Risk Ratings 

To raise public and corporate awareness of natural hazard threats to property and life, MapData Services and it's newest partner, Risk Frontiers, have launched two new street address based online services – a Natural Hazard Risk Profile Application and a Natural Hazards Risk Web Service. Both services provide "threat by peril" risk ratings for individual Australian properties as they pertain to bushfire, earthquake, hailstorm, tropical cyclone, and, where available, riverine flood. They also provide other contextual information such as elevation above mean sea level, aspect and distance from the shoreline.

 

Consumers

The RF Natural Hazard Risk Profile Report allows everyone to enter a street address for a property and for $50.00 plus GST (per report), receive a risk rating covering the natural hazards. Once you've registered and entered payment details into the secure credit card service, the report is delivered in PDF format. 

Insurance risk used to be based on your postcode. Today we offer online natural hazards risk ratings with the accuracy of an individual address
